AJ57 — Legal Aspects of Corrections
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every spring term Advisories: AJ 51 with a grade of “C” or better. This course is designed to provide the student with an awareness of the historical framework, concepts, and precedents that guide correctional practice. The course addresses the individual’s perspective of the corrections environment, the civil rights of prisoners, and the responsibilities and the liabilities of corrections officials. (CSU)
