Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 2 Term Typically Every term This course is designed to empower students with various tools to manage their money and make sound lifelong financial decisions. Topics include financial planning, money management, taxes, consumerism, insurance, investment analysis, retirement planning, home ownership and credit management. This course uses financial, tax and mathematical calculations. Students will examine how personal financial management impacts individuals and families and how to calculate the financial impacts of their decisions. (CSU, HBCU)
