RNSG 1170 — Geriatric Nursing
This course provides an overview of nursing care of the geriatric patient using evidence-based practice standards across all healthcare settings. It will address the impact of the aging process on the physiological, psychological, spiritual, social and sexuality needs of the older adult. Safety needs, family dynamics, financial concerns, end-of-life concepts and legal and ethical aspects of care are discussed.
