CDEC 1317 — Child Development Associate Training I
This course is based on the requirements for the Child Development Associate credential (CDA). Topics include CDA overview, observation skills, and child growth and development overview. The four functional areas of study are creative, cognitive, physical, and communication. This course includes a MINIMUM of 48 HOURS of field experience requiring students to participate in field experiences with children from infancy through age 5 (Preschool) - not kindergarten in a variety of settings with varied and diverse populations.
