PIPE 2643 - Test and Balance of Systems PIPE 2643 - Test and Balance of Systems 2 Credits This course covers the necessary steps for pipe trades apprentices and journeymen to start up, test, and balance heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Students shall learn to test and balance systems by instruction and hands-on experience in measuring quantities such as pressures, temperature, the rates at which air and water are flowing, and electrical current and voltage. These measurements are then compared with corresponding quantities called for by the design specifications, and any necessary regulating is done to make actual measurements meet required values. 2C/0/2/0
