PHSC 1445 - Application of Medical Terminology PHSC 1445 - Application of Medical Terminology 1 Credits This course will focus on reinforcing correct word definitions, pronunciation, spelling, and application of medical terminology. Medical terminology as it relates to basic anatomy and functions of the body will be explored. Students will be introduced to additional terminology specific to all body systems as well as abbreviations. Students will apply medical terminology as it relates to communicating with other health care professionals. 1C/1/0/0 Prerequisite(s): READ 0722 or READ 0724 or EAPP 0900 with a grade of “C” or better or appropriate assessment score
