BIOL 2755 - Genetics BIOL 2755 - Genetics 4 Credits Traditional and modern principles of genetics will be investigated through problem solving, molecular modeling and group discussion. The course will include exploration of genetics at the cellular and organismal level with special emphasis on human genetics. Three hours of lab per week are required to learn techniques and perform experiments. As part of the lab, students will have the opportunity to design, conduct, and present research using genetics laboratory techniques. 3 hours of lab required in a 16-week semester. 4C/3/1/0 Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1740 General Biology 1: The Living Cell with a grade of “C” or better Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) Goal Area(s): Goal 3
