PN 103C - Practical Nursing III Clinical PN 103C - Practical Nursing III Clinical 3 Credit(s) In addition, leadership and trends in practical nursing are considered, and the NCLEX-PN application process is discussed. Within the organizing framework of the concepts of the individual, society, health and the nursing process, an integrated approach is used that considers pathophysiology, diagnostic testing, fluid and electrolyte balance, nutrition, pharmacology, psychosocial and spiritual needs and culture across the life span. Nursing care provided by the student in clinical situations (PN103C) takes place primarily in long-term care settings with selected specialty experiences in the maternity and/or other units of local hospitals.
