CIS 120 - Concepts in Computing I CIS 120 - Concepts in Computing I 2 Credit(s) Course Description: This course provides foundational skills for navigating and utilizing technology in personal, academic, and professional settings. Students will develop basic computer functions, including file management, cloud-based storage, and safe internet practices. Emphasis is placed on understanding and navigating the layout of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools. Students will also develop skills in professional electronic communication, internet research, and evaluating information for credibility as well as the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity.
