ART 115 - Basic Design - Composition ART 115 - Basic Design - Composition 3 Credit(s) Course Description: Provides instruction in the basic concepts, vocabulary, and practice of design, emphasizing essential elements and principles of composition. Assignments will deal with processes of creativity, ideation, aesthetic analysis, process style and meaning. Students work primarily in black and white media, addressing the foundations of both objective and non-objective modes of visual art. Skills and experiences acquired in this studio course are applicable to fine arts, crafts and commercial design.
