Students will learn how to collect a patient’s history, prepare them for their appointments, provide instruction on patient care, take vital sign measurements, and assist provider with patient care. Calculating, administering, and recording medication will be addressed. Specimen collection, processing procedures, the use of personal protective equipment and infection control, and OSHA policies and procedures will be taught and reinforced. Course Learning
