MDA-105 — Medical Assistant Externship
Medical Assistant students will perform administrative and clinical procedures, under the direction of a Medical Assistant in a medical ambulatory setting. This non-paid 200-hour clinical experience will provide students with direct patient contact, the opportunity to gain insight into the role of the Medical Assistant in a healthcare team, and the opportunity to become competent and confident in the performance of tasks for which they have been trained.
