HSR-250 — Field Experience I and Seminar

The field internship offers on-the-job training under professional supervision at a local human services agency. Students explore the ranging responsibilities of human services work, including client and staff interaction, decision-making in real-world contexts, and workplace expectations. The seminar guides student reflection on integrating human services theories with practical skills, ethical practices, and professional accountability. One hundred fifty (150) hours of supervised fieldwork on-site is required to successfully complete this course.
