GEL-107 — Geology of the Solar System

Geology of the Solar System is an introductory survey of the solar system with an emphasis on data acquired by space probes. Topics covered will include the origin and evolution of planetary interiors, surfaces, and atmospheres, as well as the origin and composition of the asteroids and comets. The origin of our solar system will be considered along with information about extra solar systems.

Prerequisites: MTH-096A, MTH-096S
