ECE-210 — Math and Science for the Young Child

Mathematics and Science for the Young Child focuses on the theory and practice of teaching science and mathematics to young children. Emphasis will be placed on developmentally appropriate practices, curriculum development, and effective use of instructional materials. As part of this course, students observe and participate in an early childhood setting. Ten (10) hours of supervised field experience is required to successfully complete the course.

Prerequisites: ECE-100, ECE-101
