Provides students the opportunity to learn clinical skills in fundamental optical laboratory tasks at the entry level under the direction and supervision of a preceptor. Emphasizes accuracy and attaining skills that meet acceptable professional standards. Recitation and Laboratory Hours: Laboratory 6 hours per week. Semester(s) all Spring Notes: An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-2027 academic year only.
