VET 197 - Veterinary Assisting Internship VET 197 - Veterinary Assisting Internship 4 Total Credits Student Internship. During this course, students will work with a veterinary facility, observing and participating in the medical treatment of patients. Students will have a chance to work with individual animals under the guidance and supervision of the veterinarian. As a student, you will be applying the various techniques and skills learned in the previous courses.
