SURG 196 - Surgical Technology Capstone SURG 196 - Surgical Technology Capstone 6 Total Credits This course will provide students with a comprehensive opportunity to develop a professional portfolio that showcases their employability skills, management and leadership abilities, and individual achievements. This portfolio will serve as evidence of their readiness to enter the profession as competent entry-level surgical technologists, encompassing the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains. Throughout the course, students will engage in activities and assignments that allow them to reflect upon their learning journey, document their accomplishments, and demonstrate their proficiency in the required domains. Provide evidence of their technical competence in the surgical technologist role through the inclusion of performance evaluations, procedure logs, and skills assessments in their professional portfolio, as evaluated by instructor assessment.
