MTEC 164 - Trigonometry for Machining MTEC 164 - Trigonometry for Machining 5 Total Credits This course covers the application of trigonometry to problems in precision machining and computer numerical control (CNC). It includes an introduction and analysis of trigonometric functions, basic calculations of missing sides or angles of triangles in order to find manufacturing dimensions. Other practical machine applications include finding measurement over wires, sine bar and gauge block calculation and corresponding indicator check. It culminates with higher level applications using trigonometry to determine point plots for CNC machining. 0 or higher Course
