CNT 140 - Routing and Switching I CNT 140 - Routing and Switching I 5 Total Credits This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet as well as home office, campus LANs and Cloud architecture. The principles and structure of IP addressing, and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced to provide a foundation for the curriculum. By the end of the course, students will be able to build simple local area networks (LAN), perform basic configurations for routers and switches, and implement IP addressing schemes. This course is the first of three courses that prepare students for the Cisco CCNA certification exam. 0 or higher. Course
