AUTC 216 - Engine Performance and Emissions AUTC 216 - Engine Performance and Emissions 10 Total Credits Students learn engine performance theory, application, and diagnosis of ignition, fuel, emissions and on-board diagnostic computer systems based on NATEF competencies through Web-based, classroom and hands-on lab instruction in a live work environment. Topics include: engine diagnosis, computerized engine controls, ignition systems, fuel systems, air induction and exhaust systems, emissions controls and related systems. Included in this course are the communications competencies for writing repair reports and presenting pricing and repair options. Students prepare for ASE Certification test A-8. Course
