ECE 331 — Early Intervention
This course explores the study of infants and toddlers with disabilities, atypical development or other special needs, both in the Early Intervention setting and in the Child Care setting. It explores strategies and interventions used in the field of Early Intervention. Current theories in Early Intervention, early relationships, family systems, grief processing and stress are explored. The To Be Arranged hours may include observation of practitioners and participation in assessments and early intervention strategies. LIMITATION ON ENROLLMENT: Verification of measles vaccination and pertussis, freedom of tuberculosis, and verification of flu vaccination within the past 12 months.
