ART 10 — Beginning Wheel Throwing
This class will be an introduction to the ceramic arts. Through lecture, demonstrations and practical application, students will explore the forms, techniques and cultural influences of ceramic art throughout history. Students will learn to create pottery from the potter’s wheel and from a variety of hand building techniques. Students will also be introduced to glazing and firing techniques.
