Community Health Worker Program
RCTC’s Community Health Worker program is designed to prepare students for careers as liaisons between clients and health and social services. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to help improve access to services, improve the quality and cultural competence of care, create an effective system of chronic disease management, and increase the health knowledge and self-sufficiency of underserved populations. The Community Health Worker Certificate can also offer students a pathway to advance their academic careers in other health- and social services-related fields such as community health, nursing, medical assistant, social work, and more.
