To provide quality surgical technology education that prepares competent entry-level surgical technologists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains by meeting or exceeding the criteria set forth in the current CAAHEP Standards and Best Practices for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Surgical Technology.
