NUR29 — Home Health Aide
(3 Credits) Lecture: 1 hours Laboratory: 6 hours Total: 7 hours per week Emphasizes caring for older patients; includes social, emotional, and spiritual needs; procedures; communication; charting; reporting; infection control; safety; anatomy and physiology, nutrition; personal care; death and dying. Provides clinicals in nursing home/patient’s residence. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. (Course fees do not apply to dual enrollment CTE courses taught at local high schools).
