EGR135 — Statics for Engineering Technology
(3 Credits) Lecture: 3 hours per week Introduces Newton’s Laws, resultants and equilibrium of force systems, analysis of trusses and frames. Teaches determination of centroids, distributed loads and moments of inertia. Covers dry friction and force systems in space. An additional career and technical education course-specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. (Course fees do not apply to dual enrollment CTE courses taught at local high schools.)
