STE1006 — Surgical Anesthesia & Pharmacology Care
Instructional Lab Hour(s): 2 Provides relevant knowledge needed by surgical technology students to function safely, accurately, and efficiently at the surgical field. This course presents the actions, uses, and modes of administration of fluids, drugs, and anesthetic agents used in the care of the surgical patient and demonstrates how to convert equivalents from one system to another and accurately identify, mix, and measure drugs for patient use.
