Lecture Hour(s): 2 Formerly NUR 114 Applies and builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the previous and concurrent courses to provide for the acquisition of basic nursing theory, communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking necessary for safe, person-centered nursing care to children and their families. This course incorporates the legal and ethical responsibilities of the practical nurse (PN) in the care of children.
