Lecture Hour(s): 3 Formerly MUS 100 Focuses on the foundational elements of music theory. The course will cover clef reading, pitch and rhythmic notation, intervals, scales, key signatures, triads and diatonic chords, and an introduction to ear training and sight singing. The course will beginning music students, including those who have limited background reading music notation and understanding the fundamentals of music theory.
