Lecture Hour(s): 3 Formerly LTN 205 Introduces the library organization, how to use Dewey and Sears subject headings, elements of cataloging, practice in the use of Dewey and the Library of Congress classification systems, use of cutter tables, subject classification, accession numbers, and bar codes. Basic philosophy, procedures, tools, and techniques for library routines are emphasized.
