LTN1010 — Selection and Acquisitions
Lecture Hour(s): 3 Formerly LTN 110 Introduces the student to the tools, vendors, jobbers, and approval plans that comprise the selection process. In addition the student is introduced to acquisitions policy. The student engages in a course project whereby he/she applies a collection evaluation methodology to a section of a library collection, and locates and recommends replacement titles.
