DMS2001 — Ultrasound Physics I
Lecture Hour(s): 2 Formerly DMS 241 Presents the theoretical and practical approach to understanding the fundamentals of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, image characteristics, artifacts and bio-effects. The ergonomics of proper scanning techniques (setting up the cart, chair and room properly to avoid musculoskeletal injury) will also be presented.
