COM2270 — Gender Communications
Lecture Hour(s): 3 Formerly COM 215 Examines contemporary theories and research in gendered communication. The course will involve reading and discussion in areas of gender differences in self-perception, social and media images of men and women, language usage and nonverbal behavior differences among genders. Relevant concepts include verbal communication, nonverbal communication, context, language, perception, and conflict.
