WOO281 — Upland Game & Turkey Management Techniques
Students learn hunting, guiding, management and conservation techniques of upland birds. This course provides them with the necessary skills to manage habitat for ground nesting birds, as well as hunting and guiding techniques necessary for jobs in the industry. Students will be expected to apply skills learned in the classroom during field days and in the class and guided mentor hunts. Emphasis will be placed on firearms safety and all state and federal regulations. Students are expected to have their Hunter Education Certification prior to field days and handling firearms.
