PHL123 — Comparative Religions
This course will enable the student to develop a historical understanding of five of the world’s major, living religions. The course is designed to create a knowledge of, understanding of, and appreciation for the world’s five prominent religions. The student will learn the known religion’s features, customs, beliefs, and practices of each presented religion. The student’s exploration will include Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism through historical exploration and analysis of the principal and distinguishing features of these religions.
