Student must complete and pass all theory, lab, and clinical requirements for state certification exam eligibility. Prerequisite: Nurse Aide certification. TOTAL PROGRAM HOURS 5 The Home Health Aide course is designed to prepare individuals for a rewarding career in providing essential care and support to clients in their homes. During the two-week online course, students will learn about personal care tasks, nutrition and meal preparation, infection control, and communication skills necessary for working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. The curriculum covers topics such as assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, recognizing changes in client health status, and maintaining a safe environment in the home setting. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the state Home Health Aide certification exam and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals requiring home-based care.
