Experience TOTAL 4 CERTIFICATE TOTAL: 47 Effective Fall 2025 Associate of Science Academic Degree Map Elementary Education PK-6 Transfer 2025-2026 Because of licensure and rigid programmatic university accreditation requirements associated with elementary education, the Kansas State Board of Regents approved a Systemwide Elementary Education PK -6 Transfer Associate Degree. Students intending to transfer to a state university or Washburn University and major in elementary education need to adhere to the requirements as listed. Please refer to the following for the list of approved courses in each Systemwide Elementary Education (SWEE) discipline. If a student successfully completes the requirements for the Elementary Education PK-6 Transfer, at least 60 credit hours will transfer and apply toward the completion of specific requirements in the baccalaureate degree in elementary education. Milestones, courses, and special requirements necessary for timely progress to complete a major are designated to keep students on track to graduate in two years. Missing any of these could delay program completion. Students should consult with their advisor for more information.
