This course is designed for non-chemistry majors. It involves a survey of the fundamental concepts of chemistry such as atomic and molecular structure, gas laws, equilibrium, reaction kinetics and acid base chemistry as well as organic and biochemistry. This course is recommended for students of nursing, health related sciences, home economics and some areas of agriculture. Concurrent enrollment in CHM176 laboratory is required.
