MAC1140 — Precalculus Algebra
MAC 1140 - Precalculus Algebra MAC 1140 - Precalculus Algebra 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit AA Elective: Yes This course is intended for students whose programs of study require advanced algebra, or those who need preparation for Calculus I (MAC 2311). Topics include properties of functions and relations; the study of polynomial, rational, piecewise-defined, exponential, and logarithmic functions; systems of equations; matrices; mathematical induction; sequences and series; the binomial theorem; and conic sections. A graphing calculator (e.g., TI-83, TI-84, or an equivalent) is highly recommended. Search for Open Classes
