Includes: medical terminology, emphasizing common medical roots, prefixes, and suffixes; pharmaceutical abbreviations; and dosage forms and routes of administration. Also includes: information and reference resources; an introduction to third-party payment systems, HMO’s, Medicare, and Medicaid; and contemporary issues, including legal and ethical aspects and future concepts in pharmacy.
