Includes scales, chords, arpeggios, harmonization of melodies, transpositions, repertoire pieces, technique and practice habits, sight reading, and score reading. Play all major and harmonic minor scales, two octaves, hands together. Play all major and minor arpeggios, two octaves, hands together. Demonstrate the ability to harmonize short major and minor pieces, utilizing primary and secondary chords in block form in various accompaniment patterns to reflect those found in piano literature. Perform transposition of short major and minor pieces. Perform repertoire pieces that represent various pianistic and musical challenges.
