MUS109 — Pima Jazz Band II
3 , 1 lecture periods 3 lab periods Continuation of MUS 108 . Includes interpretation of jazz literature and its notation, development of mind and body control, interpretation of jazz rhythms, scales, and ensemble techniques. Students will audition for placement within the ensemble. May be taken two times for a maximum of two credit hours.
