MUS108 — Pima Jazz Band I
3 , 1 lecture periods 3 lab periods Rehearsal and performance of many styles of music in the jazz idiom. Includes interpretation of jazz literature and its notation, development of mind and body control, interpretation of jazz rhythms through listening, scales, and ensemble techniques. Information: All interested students are welcome to register. Students will audition for placement within the ensemble. May be taken two times for a maximum of two credit hours.
