Includes interpretation of International Classification Diseases coding system guidelines relative to application of inpatient and outpatient diagnosis and institutional/facility procedure codes. Evaluate the accuracy of diagnostic and procedural coding. Interpret Present on Admission guidelines. Develop appropriate physician queries to resolve data and coding discrepancies.
