0.75 , 0.5 Credits .25 lecture periods .5 lab periods Introduction to the techniques required to provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) at the healthcare provider level. Includes introduction to body systems and disease states, which lead to cardiac and respiratory arrest. Also includes the assessment and intervention for the airway, respiration and central circulation. Information: Course meets American Heart Association guidelines for the healthcare provider level.
