Includes nutrition as the foundation for general and oral health, nutritional and oral implications of common chronic health conditions, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, fats, minerals and mineralization, medications and oral health, and nutritional concerns for the dentally compromised patient. Information: Students must be admitted to the PCC Dental Hygiene program and obtain consent of the Dental Hygiene department before enrolling in this course. Course Learning
