DHE208 — Pain and Anxiety Control for Dental Hygiene
1 , 1 lecture period 0 lab periods Delivery of local anesthetics. Includes introduction to pain and anxiety control; pharmacology, neurophysiology, and local anesthetic agents; nitrous oxide and oxygen analgesia. Also includes health history and complications, treatment, laboratory practices on student partners, emergency procedures, and head and neck anatomy.
