Includes sentence order, modulation/inflection, prosody, sign space usage, conceptual accuracy, sign vocabulary, and deaf culture and history. Because language and culture are inextricably linked, this course will also demonstrate how ASL conveys the values, beliefs, customs, and history of American Deaf culture.
