HIM 0063 — Medical Record Transcription III
This course is a continuation of study of the types of medical reports and their components. Qualitative and quantitative control standards, phraseology and language of various medical specialties will be included. Students will progress from intermediate to advanced transcription and the transition from student to professional is further emphasized. The course includes a 30-hour cooperative learning experience at a job site. These hours may differ from scheduled class time.
